Art Appraisal Services

Modica Fine Art specializes in writing art appraisal reports that are compliant with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). MFA appraisal reports document, value and assist in the collection protection of personal properties. Insurance scheduling, acquisitions, divestments and dissolutions are endeavors that require documentation and valuation of fine art. MFA specializes in writing credible valuations that are supported by market analyses and appropriate comparable sales. Visit the PROFILE page for more details on Melanie Modica’s accreditations and credentials in appraising and appraisal review.

MFA reports are written in accordance with the ASA, and the current USPAP as set forth by The Appraisal Foundation (TAF). The Appraisal Foundation is authorized by the U.S. Congress as the source of appraisal standards and appraiser qualifications. The American Society of Appraisers is an international organization of appraisal professionals and others interested in the appraisal profession. It is the oldest and only major appraisal organization representing all six (6) disciplines of appraisal professionals. Continuing education is one of the many requirements of ASA policies regarding reaccreditation within the Society.
