MFA reports are written in accordance with the ASA, and the current USPAP as set forth by The Appraisal Foundation (TAF). The Appraisal Foundation is authorized by the U.S. Congress as the source of appraisal standards and appraiser qualifications. The American Society of Appraisers is an international organization of appraisal professionals and others interested in the appraisal profession. It is the oldest and only major appraisal organization representing all six (6) disciplines of appraisal professionals. Continuing education is one of the many requirements of ASA policies regarding reaccreditation within the Society.
